VCE study score estimator
A rough study-score range for a VCE Maths or Science subject, based on your marks and where you sit in your cohort. It's indicative — a real study score depends on your rank against everyone who sits the subject and on SAC moderation, which no public tool can see.
Indicative only — confirm with VTAC/VCAA. Study scores come from your rank against everyone who sits the subject, and SACs are moderated against the exam, so no public tool can compute them exactly. Treat this as a planning guide. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
How to use it
Pick your subject and your rough rank (your rank is the strongest signal, because a study score is itself a rank). Optionally add your SAC average and your average on past-exam-style papers to nudge the range. The result is a band rather than a single number on purpose — pretending to know your exact score would be misleading.
Limitations
SACs are moderated against the exam and study scores are set from the whole-state cohort, so this can only ever be indicative — confirm with VTAC/VCAA. To see how a study score becomes an ATAR, read study score vs ATAR and the scaling guide.
